Hardware Mecca is a family owned company.
Hardware Mecca was established as a CC in March 1995 when the company bought all the assets of De Witt & Thaele Hardware (Pty) Ltd, a private company with branches in QwaQwa and Harrismith. In 1998 the CC was converted to a private company. Another company, Truss Mecca (Pty) Ltd was established in 1998 and specialises in the manufacturing and supplying of roof trusses according to the ITC standards. Hardware Mecca is a family owned company now in its second generation of management. The initial founder of the company is now retired and with his wife serve as the directors of the company.
